Last minute holiday cancellation help

Options
Hi All,

looking for some advise please. Was suppose to be going on a group holiday next week but have fallen out with lead passenger and group members not through my own fault. The holiday provider won’t discuss with me due to not being lead passenger so i don’t know what to do. Lead passenger says holiday can’t be cancelled and not entitled to any of the money back (nearly £1700 ) so say I have to no show.

Any help / advise welcome.

Thanks

At this late stage it is unlikely a refund will be possible, Travel insurance might cover it, but usually disinclination to travel (for whatever reason) isn't covered.

Either go on the holiday or lose the money I would imagine are the stark options

Any chance you could still go on the holiday but do your own thing when you get to the destination? and keep your distance from other group members. Not ideal but don't see anyway that you'll be able to recoup any of the money

I can’t see any way of you retrieving any of your outgoings in the scenario. As above, is there anyway you can go and separate from the rest of the group?

    1. Resolve the issue with your friends and go on holiday.

    2. Take the flight/train/boat and do your own thing on arrival, not so easy if you planned to travel by car though.

    3. Do not go and lose all the money you have paid, nobody in the group would be entitled to cancel due to a falling out at this late stage.
