Right to return for refund??

Hi, im not sure were to turn, im trying to find out what my rights are regarding purchases from Curry's?.
In Nov 2022 i purchased the most expensive Hotpoint washing machine and tumble dryer (H8 models £650 each 😳) ive ever bought in my life, thinking they would last for years as they are top of the range.
The washer leaked from the first use (but eventually stopped itself after a week 🤷♂️)
The dryer has broken in less than 4 mnths old with very little use, leaking water all over the floor, and bad condensation 'inside' the Lcd screen on the front.
An engineer came out (didnt even know how to open the door of the dryer!? 😳)
Ordered some parts for the week after (i was due in hospital the week after that for an operation so was glad as i would need to use washer/dryer regularly).
But Hotpoint cancelled the appointment, and booked for the week after, then cancelled Again, and rebooked Again the week after (we shall see??)
So been without the use of my dryer for 4 weeks now and its still in the middle of the kitchen!.
I have ZERO confidence in either machine, and trying my hardest to get them returned and a refund, but seem Currys dont want to know?? 🙄.
What are my rights after having them since Nov last year please, di i have the right to return, and what is classed as a 'reasonable' amount of time that Hotpoint should of been given to come out to repair??.
Any help or advice is appreciated
Thank you

You say a Hotpoint engineer has been out but have you reported the issue(s) to Currys?
Your consumer rights under consumer protection legislation are against the people who sold it to you (Currys) and not the manufacturer (Hotpoint).
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 (legislation.gov.uk) says that the retailer is responsible for fixing issues that appear within 6 months of purchase (unless they can show the issues were caused by your misuse) within a reasonable timeframe. They have one opportunity to fix or replace the faulty item and if that one attempt fails you can claim a full refund.
So did you report the issue to currys or only to Hotpoint?
