Help.. can I cancel?

Well I applied for a HSBC bank account online through quidco on the 16th nov... they paid out a few days ago, I had the stuff asking for signatures etc and today I got the pack through saying welcome to hsbc with the letter dated the 10th December.. only now did I see something that says there's a £12.95 subscription per month!!! :eek: I want to cancel as I meant to apply for the one with no subscription..
Apparentlyyou have 14 days to cancel after taking out the account...do you think that counts as being in the 14 days??

I would give them a ring.

I think it is dated from when you sign the forms.

It is usually 14 days from the date you recieve the terms and conditions for the account, but whether they will count that as when you agreed to them online or when you signed is another matter. Evandanit is right though, phone them.

Thanks guys.. I went into the branch and they downgraded it down to a bog standard account for me without a problem.
