Converting ensuite to dressing room

Hi
Previous owner of the house I’m buying converted a bedroom into a huge ensuite. I’d like to change half of this into a dressing room. Toilet and shower can remain where they are. Double vanity would need to be changed to a single vanity. Stud wall would need to go across middle of the room. Bath would need to be removed. Tiles (which are half height) in dressing room side would need removing and plastered.
How much roughly do you think that would cost (ball park figure as I understand no one could be specific without seeing it)?
Thanks

You're better off getting quotes to give you an actual idea. But to help, I had a stud wall 2m wide put in, new door opening created, other door moved 60cm, plus an extra bit of stud wall around a supporting beam. Tearing the door opening, building the stud wall, re-using previous architrave, plastering and some small electrical work came to £3,000. That was with no skirting boards either.
So in the Southeast I'd expect more than that for the plumbing work you're also going to need. Will you need a new doorway from the bedroom to the dressing area? With a doorframe and door or just open?1 -
Thanks for that. Things soon add up! I think I’d have it open from bedroom into dressing room and then door between ensuite and dressing roomgreensalad said:You're better off getting quotes to give you an actual idea.
