How long for County Court Bailiff action?

After winning an online money claims case, the other party didn't pay up and so I raised a warrant of control for the bailiffs to recover my money.
I raised the warrant on 13th January and after one month I hadn't heard anything and so I emailed the court. I was advised that as I had made an error on the application form the bailiffs were unable to take action, but nobody had bothered to tell me this. So I resent the corrected form on 13th Feb and after two further months have passed I still have had no contact from the bailiffs.
Is it normal to have to wait so long for bailiffs action? I have emailed the court three times now but received no reply. If I phone them, a recorded message says I should email them! Just seem to be going round in circles.

Well after two and a half months I finally received an email from the bailiffs department. Apologising for the delay and advising me that they will begin to take action within two weeks. Problem is, the store is now closing down and has had a clearance sale for the past two months, so probably not much left to seize! I await the outcome with interest.0
