Chip have not paid interest, why do Money Saving Expert recommend them?

According to the "Top savings accounts" page, Chip is the best easy-access savings account with a rate of 3.55%. However, there are dozens of reviews on TrustPilot showing that interest is not being received, that customer support isn't reachable, and that people are unable to get their money back: trustpilot.com/review/getchip.uk
Can MSE either get Chip to fix their systems, or stop recommending them?

I'm not sure why so many are having an issue, but there are plenty of us who aren't. I've been with Chip for around 18 months - not sure if it's newer customers who are having issues?£12k in 25 #14 £6,633.88/£18k 24 #14 £15,653.11/£18k 23 #14 £17,195.80/£18k 22 #20 £23,024.86/£23k1

All I can say is that I’ve been getting mine regularly on the fourth working day of each month. Also putting money in, and taking money out, without issue. TrustPilot is not all that reliable either.1

why do Money Saving Expert recommend them? They don't "recommend":always do your own research ... and remember we focus on rates not service.

Don't think MSE are in the business of getting financial institutions to "fix their systems", just reporting on the rates they offer.
Chip's minimum deposit for the 3.55% savings account is a quid. Why not try it out for yourself?

I only put my money in mid-March, and have already received my first interest payment. Have you checked on the app that you've actually put it into the right pot? I know theyy have more than one account type. When you look at where your money is does it show the interest at the top of the screen like this? (I've blanked out my £ details)

Can MSE either get Chip to fix their systems, or stop recommending them?I've received interest every month without fail, and have received a response from customer support within a couple of hours on the one occasion I contacted them.TrustPilot reviews are only as reliable as the people making them, and therein lies the problem.2 -
got my interest no problem at all. paid just as they said on the 4th working day without fail. cant understand negative reviews on chip1
