So I drive under a gantry on the M1 with the 'national speed limit' sign in place
The camera flashed
I was doing 60, the previous gantry sign was set at 50 so I was increasing my speed back up to 70
I havent had a ticket yet (it was a week ago approx)
I have dash cam footage showing my speed and the gantry sign speed limit
If I get a ticket I'll be gutted!
Whats the likelihood of getting a ticket and/or contesting it? would my cam footage be a clear cut piece of evidence??
Thanks

Just wait and see
They will provide photos with the gantry limit3 -
Are you sure it was you that was being flashed and not another car overtaking you? Does your dash-cam superimpose GPS data with speed?1

Since we concentrate on parking charge notices from unregulated private parking companies, you would be better off taking this over to our friends on Pepipoo.com as they are the experts on council and police issues. You will need to sign up on Pepipoo with a non-Hotmail email address before reading the FAQs, then posting both sides of your PCN with your query.PrivateCouncilPolice1

Solution - simply change your name by deedpoll to Suella Braverman and request a speed awareness course !
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.0
