NatWest £200 switch offer

Hi there,
I have started to switch the NatWest Select for the £200 switch offer. I extra opted for select as I thought I only need to pay in £1200 within the first 60 says. Now I was told that I need to pay in that amount monthly. I wondered how long I need to stay with the bank after the switch, as that is a bit much for me.
Thank you so much

Read the terms. For the switch offer there is no ongoing requirement to fund the account, just the one off £1250 and log into the app.Maybe the person who you spoke to was talking about the reward account which does have an ongoing requirement to fund in order to receive cashback on DD's.

Once the incentive has been paid, there is no need to keep the account - feel free to switch away or close it at your leisure if you'd like. The Select account doesn't have any payment requirements, only the Rewards account does.
But as above, I'd double check you understand the terms of the switch offer. You need to deposit £1250 (not £1200) into your Select account. This can be done in multiple transactions however (eg. 2 x £625, 5 x £250, 1250 x £1, etc) which can be helpful if you'd struggle to do it in one go.1 -
Must you have 2 DDs please? I don't seem to have seen it.0

Remember too for this switch it has to stay in the bank for at least 24 hours - you can do it cumulatively e.g. transfer £500 today, remove tomorrow at 11:30, then send back £500 and leave until Thursday at 11:30 then do the final £250
There is no requirement for DD on the NatWest group switchSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
