Morning everyone
Bright and sunny here but it's windy and forecast to get stronger. No plans this morning other than to do some tidying and I've got my bedding in washing so that will be to go out on the line when it's done. This afternoon I'm stewarding at our local theatre/cinema for a film called What's love got to do with it...I'm looking forward to it.
Little one stayed on Sunday night...she started off in her bed but then came into mine at some point...I was awake for a while as I've got a very annoying cough...I got up to take paracetamol and when I came back through she was like a starfish in my bed....so I went in hers....later I woke and she was in there too...'what are you doing in my bed granny?'....fell back asleep then woke later 'granny my clock says 7'. Needless to say I had an early night last night!
She spent yesterday wearing bunny ears and a little white tail, we made crispy nests with mini eggs in and delivered some to my niece and then great grans house...
DD picked her up early afternoon and the rest of my afternoon was spent very lazily with my Sunday Times.
Thanks for all the tips about keeping cats off my planters....I've put lots of cocktail sticks in and there was nothing this morning. I wouldn't mind so much if it was my cat doing it...but it's not...I think it's a big fat grey one that comes in and chases mine back into the house.
Right I'd better move myself or nothing will get done. Hope everyone has a good day today.12 -
Morning..Taken OH to docs, home again, backk again, home again and now he's gne to work. He's havng pains in his chest [not h.a. ones] and he was sufficiently worried to actually go to the doctors...So I facilitated. Today I have planned an itinerary of domestic chores, hoovering, washing, kitchen and a bit of cooking. Leftover lamb googling [or old style googling i.e. looking at cookbooks] for some recipes. Trying to go low carb from now on, Im getting a weird sensation in my chest when I eat bread or potatoes or something like that, like a kind of lumpy indigestion without the pain but pressure. And it doesn't seem to want to digest. So that's my day of heady delights.Ruby, it's all going on apace isn't it..well done..TA, I feel for your friend. It's difficult exaplining to anyone who doesn't have pets how much they mean to us. I think I cried every days for a good couple of weeks when my dog went. It took me ten years to build up the courage to scatter her ashes. Hope you're all taking care...Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi11

Morning from a windy corner of Kent. Really lazy day yesterday, and really enjoyed it. Cleaning, allotment for us today.

I am still here, making my own lunch!! DF was still very tearful this morning so I didn't press her into going out for lunch if she didn't feel up to it. Having lost 3 dogs and 2 cats ourselves over the years I can understand how she is feeling. You feel bereft and low for quite a while.
I am now awaiting delivery of a big sack of compost shortly and if this blooming wind drops I might go and refill some pots out the back, then they are ready for new plants when the time is right. The sun is still shining but the dratted wind is a cold one! x"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"10
