Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Not raining at the moment but yesterday was raining and windy. Forecast is not good for the coming days - yet more rain.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Lunch yesterday was burgers and hot dogs with chips - tonight will be chicken or fish.
Back to work this morning - we'll see how that goes.
Keep safe and well x

Morning all, thanks for starting us off nmlc. After a couple of hours of rain and grot mid morning yesterday turned into a decent day apart from the nippy wind. My day was rather quiet, I was very tired from the day before, more than usual, so I gave into it. My friends were out on their bikes all day whilst I just loitered around until going to their cottage for my tea. I wasn't there long but just as I left the heavens opened for a most horrendous hail storm. Great big huge fat hard balls of ice bouncing off everything. It only lasted five minutes but covered the ground with a layer of ice. Very odd.Anyway, today is banking time. And catching up with a couple of recordings.I hope that our poorlies are on the mend. Happy Tuesday to all.12

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. So far we are getting off lightly with all the rain that's about. Yesterday just a bit of mizzly stuff now and again and today it's not forecast until late afternoon. Meanwhile we have blue sky and sun!
It's supposed to be lunch day with my DF today but I am waiting to see how she feels after the loss of her much loved doggy. She was still a bit tearful yesterday but thinks she will be ok to meet today. I said I am happy to postpone if she wants to. So today is a bit of an unknown for now, until I hear from her.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better or MIA. Take care all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"12 -
Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.
I've just lost a post, so I'm gnashing my teeth - I'm using my little tablet and the keyboard seems so sensitive. I've lost posts before on this, and get fed up with correcting things, it seems to have a mind of its own!
Hope everyone is ok and has a good day, take care folks.10 -
Morning everyone TA try and get your friend to meet up if you can it’s terrible when we lose a beloved pet but it might do her good to get out we have lost numerous pets over the years and it’s heartbreaking when I lost my cat many years ago she was 23 I was inconsolable and I’ve never been able to face getting another I still can’t talk about her now without getting upset and I know everyone says the same you have to think of the good life you have give them I wish I had my dogs life she’s laid here snoozing while I’m getting ready for work. It’s dry at the minute but windy and chilly. WW tonight we will see I heard from my friends yesterday who are wanting to buy a place in Cyprus they have been going over regularly and have now gone for two months to hopefully buy somewhere I have been invited so next year if everything works out I am going to go over when I retire so my mission is to save hard and get a grip on this weight. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing12

Morning all
Dry and bright here for now but rain due later this afternoon I have three clients coming today so will see what they fancy doing, there are a few options on the table for them.
Going to phone a couple of decorators today to see when they can fit me in, OH is trying to get hold of an electrician and a plasterer.
Dinner tonight will something with chicken breast will see what we fancy later, I have put a wash on this morning which can go on the airer.
There is a rubbish removal man coming today to clear out all the old skirting / flooring etc from the front garden it will be good to get rid of that.
TA I was sorry to hear about your friends dog, it’s heartbreaking when they leave us xxx
Have good days all and take care xx11 -

Shouldn't moan as in the grand scheme of things there are a lot of people on here with alot more problems than mine.Hope your friend feels bright enough to go for your usual coffee morning TA after losing their pet.Keep safe everyone x9

Morning all, sunshine and showers for us today I think. Cold wind though.Gers thanks for the info re bank pins, unfortunately his bank doesn't have that possibility. They're meant to have sent 2 new ones out, and the new card arrived ok- just cant use it. Frustrating! Glad you're enjoying the company of friends.TA hope you get to go out with your friend.Poppy pleased to 'see' you & that you are keeping up with the news on here. Take care xMenfolk back at work today, & nothing planned for me. I have been looking into getting a yearly membership for the council leisure centre pools. I did look at the private gym chains, there are 2 main ones here and DGS Mum & Stepdad have one & use it a lot with their little ones. My DN has one for the other one & also is using it a lot with their family, but it's just too dear for me. I'll mull it over today. The most accessible one for me is on the outskirts of the town centre, and another involves a fair bit of a walk and then bus.Something with mince for tea- will decide later. Bit of housework first
Have a good day all x

Morning All
Much better night's sleep for me so feeling a bit better this morning. Still positive and still snotty but it's certainly not as bad as the last time I had it.
Good to hear from you Poppy.
Sorry your friend lost her beloved dog TA.
Glad you're enjoying seeing your friends Gers.
Not much happening here as I'm still confined to home, DW has just finished and the WM is doing it's thing. All the windows have been open for a good blow through so it's time for me to lie on the sofa with the heated throw!
Hope you all have a good day, take care. XX10
