Trading / Export to Israel - VAT?

Hello all,

My business is VAT registered in Wales,UK, although a company that is based in Israel is looking to place a purchase order with us for goods we sell that are manufactured in the UK.

My question is should I charge VAT on the invoice and if so at what rate?

HS Code for goods: 8536901000

Incoterms will be Ex Works

I’ve requested support from HMRC and signed some forms over a week ago with them on confidentiality although to response yet.

Thanks all

If you don't have an accountant, it could be worthwhile to find one ...

Given you are selling goods rather than services then you would charge VAT but at 0% if the goods are being exported

Some people thing 0% VAT and VAT Exempt are interchangable terms but there is material differences between the two. Echo the above that you should be considering professional advice from an accountant rather than random strangers online.
