Right to buy - work being done

I am having work done on my home by my landlord (social Housing) full rewire and windows. When the work is done I will be putting in my right to buy. As the work will be very recent will any of it be charged back to me?
From what I can make out any repairs up to the value of £10,000 over the past 10 years won't be passed on to me.
Any info on the rules in this situation?
Thanks

The Government website says that they can make deductions for works done. How old is your home & when did your landlord acquire it
If your landlord has spent money on your home
Your discount will be less if your landlord has spent money building or maintaining your home:
- in the last 10 years - if your landlord built or acquired your home before 2 April 2012
- in the last 15 years - if you’re buying your home through Preserved Right to Buy, or if your landlord acquired your home after 2 April 2012
You will not get any discount if your landlord has spent more money than your home is now worth.

Thanks. I have lived here for 30 years so before those dates. I was wondering if there's any rule about the recency of work. I believe the cost of the first 10k over the past 10 years is not passes on to me but would like to see a detailed policy.0

The rule is within last 10 years (as above). It sounds like this would apply to you (unless you have a preserved RTB in which case it's 15) depending on costs. Search for this document

And this page explains cost floor price and it's relevance in more detail

Not sure where you have got the first 10k from. £5.5k seems more relevant.

Overall the best advice is to ask the landlord as they are the only ones who will know how much they have spent in last 10/15 years (whichever applies to you). However if you are having a full rewire & windows then it's going to definitely exceed the stated values.2
