Morning all
pouring with rain here and supposed to be all week 🙁 I’m hoping oh will take the dogs out later as I hate walking in the rain !
We got as far as we can go yesterday with our work all new flooring laid all architrave and skirting fitted, it already looks so much better, we now need to wait for an electrician, a painter and a plasterer although OH said he might attempt the plastering himself, I need to do a bit of tidying today to get things ready for my clients coming tomorrow but that will not take long.
I also need to nip to the shop to get a doormat, there was an internet cable coming in from outside which ran under the floor into the lounge, we need to get this extended so we can run it over a door frame and into the skirting as we could not put it under the new wooden floor as it would have crushed it, we need to wait for an electrician to do this so I will need to put a mat on it to prevent people from tripping.
Dinner today will be honey and garlic chicken with roasted veg cous cous will prepare the veg this morning and marinate the chicken.
Camelot so sorry to hear you have the dreaded lurgy, hope it’s not too bad for you xx
Gers how scary for you, I’m glad you were not hurt xx

Rosy - if you or DH have the banking app on your mobile some banks allow access to the PIN on it. Lloyds have it, Halifax and First Direct. Santander doesn't have it.The sun lasted for a brief half hour before the rain came back, seems that we're in for short sharp showers all day. I've been out and refilled the bird feeders. Yesterday, on the way out of the town, I photographed two deer feeding on seaweed on the shore, the tide was out so they were wandering around eating. How they got there is a mystery as both side of the shore are built up.TA - sorry to hear about your DF's dog, it's so sad when a beloved pet dies.Ruby - such a lot of work going on, you're being very patient with it.Bella - are you OK?12

Morning all Its wet and miserable here in outer London so its an indoors day, sorry i haven't been on but we spent Thursday driving to Windsor to collect DD2's dog as she is having a family easter break in Greece and then Friday i was adjusting to 2 dogs and catching up with the housework and shopping. Saturday came and i felt awful came down with some sort of cold Yesterday DD1 and her OH came for dinner and we had an incident with the dogs culminating in DD2's dog taking a small chunk out of Dolly part of it was my fault i gave them both a chew and DD1 turned up so i let her in and as DD2's dog had finished hers she decided Dollys was fair game , Dolly growled and then DD2's dog flew at her as Dolly is a lot smaller she came off worse I have always had issues with them as i never can leave the house if they are both here as the bigger one constantly bothers Dolly to play and won't take no for an answer so i am going to tell DD she either pays for Dolly to go to the minders across the road (she loves it there with the other dogs and never wants to come home) or i won't be able to have big dog anymore but as i say it was partly my fault. But everyone is ok so thats a blessing
TA So sorry to hear about DD's dog it is the worst part of having them
Camelot hope you are feeling better today how annoying to have it during the holidays
Rosy Pleased you got a result with the bank
Gers How frightening glad the police took it seriously
Ruby if you fancy popping round mine i have a ton of DIY that needs doing
Happy visiting all those who are seeing loved ones and friends Have a good day whatever you are up to stay safe warm and dry xxxSlava Ukraini10 -
Bella, it's not your fault if your daughters dog doesn't understand that Dolly's treat is not hers! You'll be saving your daughter a fortune in kennel fees but you & Dolly shouldn't be having to tolerate bad behaviour. Hope Dolly is OK x2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
