Problems with eBay postage policies!

Options
Is anybody else having problems wit the eBay postage policies? I had it all neatly sorted and suddenly eBay have created around 100 new policies, with similar names like
Flat: UK_RoyalMailSecondClassStandard free, 4 49f06aa463aa000 and added 1 listing to each. I don't see how I can sort this out without moving them one by one and there are so many that it's difficult to find my original policies. In another account they have created about 6 of them which is a bit easier to deal with. Have ebay been making changes to the posting options?

Yep, I keep spending time changing them all and deleting the hundreds that keep turning up, and more appear each time I look.
I think I've got my business account nearly in hand now, but am still ongoing with my private accounts.

My refund policy also disappeared from many items about a month ago and that is still happening as well.

  • I gave up and opted out of business policies. They may be okay if everything you sell has one postage price but a nightmare if you have numerous different prices and set-ups.

I’ve never managed to opt out on my accounts , how did you manage it please?

This just gets worse, I relisted quite a few items and I now have over 200 different business policies. My return policies also changed and ebay won't allow me to change anything back to what it was!

If you visit the 'manage business policies page, I found an 'opt out' link at the bottom. I'm not sure what happens but I will give it a go.

Is this just affecting business accounts as I've not noticed anything on my personal account.
    Famous last words I guess.

When you are on the business policies main page, I think in the type right corner it says opt out in tiny writing. Just press that. I daren't go and double check as just going on to the main page seems to opt you back in again without your consent, but I'm sure that's how I did it.

It was happening to one of my private accounts and then a few days ago it started happening on my 2nd private account.

  • This happened in my private account, I didn't choose to have business policies, maybe I just visited the wrong page. Thankfully opting out seems to have cleared it all and I can see what I'm doing.
