I have an Octopus IHD, a Geo V2.
I have solar panels.
All has been OK with the IHD until about a week ago when the export reading
went blank.
The actual smart meter shows an export reading of 21 but the IHD just shows ---
Apart from turning the IHD off & on is there anything else I can do to get the export
reading back ?
I have sent an email to Octopus but not got a reply yet, Bank Holiday Weekend etc.

I am being a bit dense this morning but I don’t understand your issue. AFAIK, no IHD shows an export usage (kWh) index reading. The IHD that I have shows the amount of power that is being exported in kW. This increases and falls as the sun shines and house load changes.greyteam1959 said:I have an Octopus IHD, a Geo V2.

The meter readings that are shown on the IHD are a total of all 4 indexes that have been used over the life the respective meter.0 -

Each day is a school day. There was an issue with some Kaifa meters last year where the meter was not providing export readings after a firmware update. Firmware updates are the responsibility of the meter manufacturer. It took 3 updates and 7 months to resolve the problem.
