I signed into what I thought was Trainline on my phone & signed up to this by mistake. There was no sign that it was any differnt from Trainline in both typeface & design. They've now got my phone number& email (& £1.50 of my money!) Totally crooked outfit, parasitical & dishonest.

I tried a local menu as it was all I could find lying around, and again it has said the name of the takeaway and to access the site I have to click on the site name that comes up when I scan the QR code.Yep, I have to press the link to go there. And if I press the 3 dots beside the address it comes up with the full address including /youwilllosealotofyourmoney.You really have to make an effort to go to the scam site unless of course you go round blindly pressing anything that pops up.
I spend time with a lot of older people, who have devices but really don't know what they're doing on it, and they do indeed press what they think is right - sadly, it often isn't, and that exactly how the OP's scenario can happen and how 'scam's' happen.
