Tsb savings pots interest rate

Hi. I have a savings pot - website says interest rate is 2.52% but when i log into app it says rate is 2.7%. Anybody else get the same?

Yes, mine is showing 2.7% too. I also receive a letter and statement telling me I'm earning 0.84% on that account

They do this sometimes
i opened one a few months back and I think it was 1.71% on the website - but they set the pot as 1.91%I’m guessing they only do this for existing customers
What I find crazy is that their limited access easy saver is STILL at 2.5%!
why would you open one when the savings pot is completely easy access - and pays 2.7%?!
the only thing is you can only have 5 savings pots with max 5k in each I guess…0 -
Has anyone asked TSB about this, or calculated to see what rate it is that they are getting? To determine if it is a glitch, or if it is the actual rate being appliedIf you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.

TSB is weird. When I opened one the rate was 1.5% and 2 weeks later it went up to 1.7 for no reason. A month or so later when I opened a second pot it stayed at 1.5%. I never bothered to calculate whether it was actually paying 1.7 or was a text error and actually paying 1.5 but there is definitely some weird bug with the pots.1

I think they just give higher rates to existing customers occasionally
when it happened to me I checked and I did get the correct interest paid each month

starting from when you first put money in. - not the 1st of each month

Could someone tell me are the savings pots only available through the spend and save accounts? I have an old classic plus account that I was thinking of using for a switch however I've decided to keep it and have opened a monthly saver but these 'pots' sound interesting.0 -
