Perhaps a third party debt order is a  route.  :/ As I've said I've learnt my lesson for future prospects. I'm just trying to figure out if there are any other ways to get my money back that I'm missing, before I give up.
No point throwing good money after bad though - does the other party have the assets to pay?

Yes this is true. It's an individual, I know they have things, items, vehicles etc.

Unlikely to be on finance as they like to pay cash.

And give legal title of any assets to their brother/father/uncle/favourite pony's groom's second cousin who just happens to live anywhere but here.

Would a bailiff poking around their parents' house demanding they provide receipts for all their possessions to prove that they're not owned by the debtor be enough leverage to get payment?

You have already said they live elsewhere.
So all parents have to do is provide the address & I would think they are covered.

Do you think they'll allow the bailiff in? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Remember who we're talking about here.

Sadly the parents "don't have the address"... That would solve mostly everything! The bailiffs did ask for entry, the parents refused. They then judged there was nothing outside their property that belonged to the debtor and left.

You said they have 'vehicles'. So where are these vehicles, and why can't the bailiffs seize them if not on finance? They're likely to be the single most valuable asset, and they can't be secured inside the property, except in a locked garage.
Live elsewhere? Then use a tracing agent, cost minimal.
