No DLA rise in April

I'm confused. I thought DLA and Pip were set to rise from April payments but I received mine today and it is exactly the same as it has been for months with no 10% rise. Same with my ESA actually. Does anyone know if legacy benefits have yet again been left out of this rise with inflation? Thanks

Along with other benefits and the state pension there will be a 10.1% rise in payments but it’s not due to kick in until 10th April, so your next payment will include the rise3

Sorry to come back took my brain a while to activate lol Thing is my DLA was due on Tuesday 11th April. I only got it today because the bank paid it early because of bank holidays I presume. So my payment date does fall after the 10th. So am wondering why there was no extra paid. Just the normal amount i've received for months. I can see why ESA due today did not have it because before 10th but DLA payment date is 11th.August-September 2017: Lots of stuff

DLA is paid a month in arrears I believe (someone more knowledgeable can confirm /deny), so you won't see any rise until Mays payment.
You will still get 12 payments at the higher rate, it's just a case of it starting a bit later.

No one will see any increase yet. All benefits are paid in arrears, DLA is paid 4 weeks in arrears so as has been advised it will be May you will see the increase.
