Expensive Multi Car Insurance
Just in the proceedings of getting my multi car insurance renewed and was surprised at how the prices have increased. For 2014 Zafira and 2007 Fiesta, last year with Admiral was £314. This year they are quoting £405. Tried Hastings and they were £504.
NB: No changes to our circumstances.
Before I go ahead with the Admiral quote, any suggestions of other companies or techniques I could try?
Thanks in advance.

You could try getting individual quotes for the vehicles. Insurance seems to bottom out at £150 to £200 per vehicle at lowest risk, so it might work out a bit cheaper than your renewal. But your renewal does sound pretty reasonable in the current climate.1

Yes, tried LV and Hastings who were coming out more expensive. Individually slightly more expensive but not by much. I guess I must have got a good deal last time to get my custom. Is it true that car insurance has gone up in recent times?0

Why not try an aggregator site and compare the renewal quote against that. Quick way to market test.1

I have been told that there is an 18% increase although Direct Line bumped mine from £398 to £690 - I moved to another insurer but still finished up at just short of £500.The excuse from the various companies is they lost money last year .1

What is an agregator site? You mean a comparison site?
