Barclaycard

It seems that I have finally found a fault with the amazing overseas call centres :rotfl: ;-)

There is now a new string to add to their bow. Not being able to understand you and cancelling your card without you knowing about it!!!!

I rang Barclays at the end of last month with a general account enquiry. The next day I went to use my card in a shop, it was declined. I later found out that it was reported 'not recieved' despite me using it for the previous few months!

This was because the next caller had requested this and my screen was still up! so much for security!!!!!

FYI it wasnt cancelled due to a missed payment, fraudulent transaction etc etc

No one seems to be interested in this fact, but as the advert says;

"don't worry I've got my Barclaycard to protect me[from fraud]"
If this is protection then Id rather pay in cash!!!!
