 Day 27 - spent £36.56. 50p on five books from the charity shop. £24.06 at T including Rice Snaps at 85p to compare to Rice Krispies to see what they are like. Sunflower and pumpkin seeds £1.25 each. Swapped seven jigsaw puzzles and purchased three at £12.
 Day 28 - spent £314.60. I wasn't looking forward to receiving the bills for the winter period after hearing what others had been charged. It's always a shock when you see the total figure however when you break it down to per day it doesn't seem too bad electric £1.42 per day and gas £2.85 per day. All the little things I've been doing have made a difference as units consumed have decreased from this period last year. Four teacakes on a YS - 97p.
 Day 29 - NSD. Finished Wasgij jigsaw puzzle and was disheartened to discover there was a piece missing as it was a swap with an individual. Trying not to let a few bad experiences put me off swapping. I wish people would be honest and upfront as it spoils it for others.
 Day 30 - spent £2.00 on jigsaw puzzles. Finished reading The Dry, best book I've read so far this year.
 Day 31 - spent £6.52 at SH on bread, milk, rice, carrots and biscuits.
 Day 32 - NSD. Swapped a jigsaw puzzle.

            Are you still doing your competitions?Do you know anyone you could plant swap cuttings with? If plants make you happy there may be a way to keep some money away from b&q 😅

 Yes I'm still entering competitions but not had any wins in May. Trying something different for June - entering competitions on 2 pages of the forum everyday instead of counting 23 per day to speed things up. Competitions entered today on page 1 and page 67 - in the hope I win some prizes that I can put to one side for Xmas presents. Plants from B&Q were some beans as my old seeds failed to germinate and some bedding plants, I haven't spent any money on compost this year as I got some for free from a local resident who ordered too much.WinterWarrior said:Are you still doing your competitions?Do you know anyone you could plant swap cuttings with? I used to do them and you have to enter thousands to get a decent win rate. I had much better luck with post cards before on line entries 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

            Another NSD. Competitions entered on page 2 and 69 - fingers crossed, it only takes one entry to win. I'm waking up earlier due to the lighter mornings so I've started reading instead of putting the TV on or going online. Currently reading The Stranger Times, not my usual genre but that's one of the reasons I like purchasing secondhand books from charity shops - it introduces you to different genres, authors and subjects.
 June challenges:
 NSD = 2/10
 Minutes online = 230/3600
 Minutes watching TV = 180/3600
