Hi, wondering if anyone can give clarity.
So, my notice period is 3 months in normal circumstances, if made redundant I have 6 months minimum paid employment, if i resign then i assume it reverts to 3 months, but what if i get an agreement for PILON (due to reasons I wont go into), would it be 3 months or 6? I suppose the employer gains if they pay me anything less than their 6 months contractual commitment

PILON relates to the period that your employer would have to pay you if they terminated your contract. If that's 6 months then it's 6 months. On the other hand, if you agree something different then it's whatever you agree otherwise the employer can make you work your notice.0
