Car Lease

Options
I have been rejected for a lease car deal.

Finance company cant/won't tell me why it was rejected.

My experian score is 999, I have credit cards, but they have all been paid off.

I have recently moved house, so a new mortgage application will be on there.

Is there anything that would be stopping my application from getting approved?

I applied under my new address, which show I have only lived there for a week or so.

My credit report shows that I am not on the electoral roll at new house. Would this be the only thing stopping me getting finance or is it because of new mortgage?

I have just applied to be added to electoral Roll at new address which I assume will take some time to show up.

No electoral roll, new mortgage and no active cards by the sounds of it.

The 999 score doesn't count for getting credit.

    Thanks for your reply.

The cards are active. They were just all cleared before making mortgage application as per financial adviser recommendation.

I'm thinking it must be the electoral roll issue. I will add myself to that and see how I go but don't want too many recent applications.

The lease broker has advised appealing decision, but not sure how fruitful that will be.

Yes - what you wrote above.

You need to update the electoral roll - transfer all existing accounts over to your new address - and then wait a couple of months for all records to update before even trying to obtain any significant credit - as none of the checks will show that you live where you actually live.
