Collecting Avios online via the BA Estore (Sainsburys)

Hi, I've recently started using the BA E-store to collect Avios. Can anyone tell me how to actually manage to get points via online shopping at Sainsbury's?
I follow the instructions exactly as written on the BA Avios page (going into Sainsbury via the site, only using the one window/tab etc.) and while the visits are tracked, they never become "pending". I've been in touch with both BA and Sainsburys but neither wanted to help.
I've also just had pending points reversed for a purchase via GoCompare - my transaction was "rejected as the merchant reported that your last click for your purchase was not made via British Airways Avios eStore site but another marketing source" which makes absolutely no sense. Claiming Avios at M&S and John Lewis are the only two retailers that have worked for me so far, it's really frustrating!
