Army pension and UC

Please can anyone tell me whether an Army pension is counted as unearned income  and deducted in full for UC  ?. Information online seems to be contradictory. It is just a normal army pension, not for injuries or disability. Thank you.

It will be unearned income and reduce the UC £1 for £1.

Yes, the standard armed forces pension based on years of service is treated as any other pension and is fully taken into account on UC.
However, War Pensions, Armed Forces Independence Payments, Service Invalidity Pensions and Service Attributable Pensions are fully disregarded, so it's important to check exactly what type of pension is in payment and if a disregard applies.

Thanks, this is where I am getting confused as I'm sure some kind of army pension is disregarded for maybe Pension credit ? The calculator I was using has not counted the army pension as unearned income for UC but there are a number of options on the calculator so I'm thinking maybe I've put the wrong one in. Thanks for your help.
