Possible inheritance claim from a joint account

    I can't see a sibling being able to claim the joint account money, as already mentioned, the bank will just take his name off the account. 

    However, if your Father was ever to need a care home, I hope your sister has got proof that £15k of it is hers!  Otherwise the council will count half of it as your Father's money.
