Was pondering on this as planning to buy a property for one of the (adult) children, previous solicitor just used to accept we had the money in the account and that was it but now we live 200 miles away and probably need to find a new one. How do you prove it ? and how do I know where that "bit" came from - was it the inheritance / pension lump sums / downsizing or savings?0
