Hi my wife has recently been made redundant due to the company being declared insolvent the administrator told her on the 28th they would be sending her an redundancy pack with the CN number so she can claim from the insolvency service. She has still not received this ? How long should it take? Others have phoned them and have been fobbed off! A couple were given a Cn number but when applied to the insolvency service it was rejected! Help please 🙂

When did the company get made Insolvent (you can check this at .....

Search for the company, then you will see some tabs:

• Company
• Filing History - this one will have documents if the company is not yet insolvent (Declaration of solvency, Appointment of a voluntary liquidator, Final Gazette, etc)
• People
• Charges
• Insolvency - this is the one where you will get the date of the insolvency
• More

You will not be able to apply until the date of the insolvency.

If the date has passed, contact the administrator in writing and ask for the CN number again.
