Are your showers electric?
Cost more than one running through gas boiler.
What is your house set up for heating, water etc.
Previous years we used to have the heating on & off a lot, this/last year it was set on 24/7 controlled by hive stat with 2 temps. One between 07:00 & 21:45 & a lower one 21:45 to 07:00. Saving was a lot this winter.
House is occupied 24/7 & working from home.
Nope, it runs through the gas boiler and has wildly different pressure dependent on the day... but that is for another thread.
We have a gas boiler and a water tank if that is what you were referring to.
From when the baby was born in November the heating was set to be constantly on at c.18 degrees. The house is always occupied as I work from home most of the week and the mother and baby spend most days at home.

I have the same thing - got a newborn at home and dealing with the same problem. Do you keep the heating set at 18 overnight? I have been dialing it back overnight as if baby is tucked up then it is not so critical that it is kept at 18. In fact a lower temperature is meant to have a lower risk of sids.FoxLocke said:

I was hoping it was a Combi boiler, so only heats what you use.FoxLocke said:

Long time since we had a hot water tank, so no idea how costs between the 2 compare.Life in the slow lane0
