Wooden Flooring - Oiled or Lacquered?

I am planning to do a complete turnover of my property, whereas I am intending to change my already existing flooring. I would like to go for oak engineered flooring, however I am not aware if I should go for oiled or lacquered floors. Can someone recommend or share his own experience. It is also said that oiled floors can be repaired, but can those floors be repaired?

I was recommended oiled when purchasing as laquered can show every mark if scratched. Oiled can be sanded back and re-oiled if required. My floor is wearing well after a few years.

We used Osmo hardwax oil (2 coats).  4 years on, and it's still looking like new.

We used the matte version, but it also comes in sheen.

Stick with oil, as already posted it wont show scratches so easily. Especially if you have pets or kids. Avoid lacuer or varnish.

After 5-10 years you can sand and re-oil and it will look good as new again.
