Short version is sent a parcel via evri which was guaranteed delivery prior to xmas. it never arrived at the recipients. Evri have said they will pay the value of the parcel and postage only....they refused to refund the miniscule ebay fee that i had to pay... so im ultimately out of pocket.

Where can i go with this apart from raising yet another 'email enquiry' as their complaints process is set up to avoid being actually able to complain with anything other than a generic email.
do they not have any guaranteed standards, or guarantee failure payments?

Letter before action then onto Small Claims Court.
PS - They are right about the ebay fee.

I thought eBay refunded fees for aborted sales?

EBay fees are refunded, all apart from 30p when a refund is given to buyer by seller after an INR Ali is settled by seller.

I am confused by your title and the bit in bold above.

Have you had any money from them?

No, They said they would refund the money......then closed the enquiry as resolved...i still haven't received a penny...
Ive tried to contact them again through chat - they don't recognise the tracking code and the customer service number gives the same issue...
no option to speak to anyone, at any point.

i think 'right' isnt correct. Ultimately due to their negligence i have had to pay 30p for this - a little girl didn't get the boots she wanted....and someone somewhere has received a decent pair of boots for nothing. It is really all about the principal  -  not the monetary value...
however its now starting to take more and more time out of my day - 4 months down the line and they cant organise a refund less than a tenner
  • I don't know if this will help but when I couldn't get through to evri, I went through the chat bot and selected 'courier has damaged my property'. You have to include 2 photos, I just took random photos but at least I had a response from evri.

The other is to Google the CEO email address and send a message to them.

These are ways that have worked for me. Ultimately, I guess, is how much more effort do you want to get back a tenner. I suppose only you can decide that but I would be giving it only last try. I absolutely hate that company with a passion and how they get away with the things they do, is incredible annoying.
