It will last but not as long as a thicker cut obviously.
If you're hardly going to use it thats fine.
I've had to reinforce mine, chunky though it is because as they get older my friends are getting chunkier
Saying that, I just spotted another version that I'm wondering about....
The one I mentioned is £235, comes already built and they say with dowels, glued, mortise and tenon joints. The cheaper one is £185 and looks very similar but comes flat packed, and they say stainless steel fittings.
Apart from having to put it together myself, is the more expensive one made in that way better? Or do they do the same thing? Any thoughts?
Flat pack version:

I can't see where that assemble at home one says it is grade A teak. It says premium, but that is not the same. However, my caveat today is that I have my new glasses from Specsavers and they are not right (again) so I shall be going back after the BH to sort them out!1 -

Not answering the most important selling point makes a point
With the ready assembled one being made in a traditional way and looking very good seems to show they care.
The screws are all right but will show.
Just having it ready made is a big plus in my book. It's going to be assembled correctly and straight.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
