Seller not responding - trying to return faulty online purchase

Hiya, probably been asked a million times (sorry).
Hubby purchased something online - supposedly a UK based company. We discovered the item wasn't working properly, and contacted their 'support' to arrange return, as per their website - however, emails just don't get replied to, and contact form, also yields not action from them.
Item cost £50, and was purchased with a debit card.
Any suggestions?

That implies some doubt, what's the name of the company?

Oh look it's the same website

    Gapoos

The English in their Ts&Cs would lead me to believe you're dealing with scammers.

Did you call their terribly professional mobile support number  +447537134889?

I would have thought a lack of response from that or an unavailable number should lead to a bank chargeback

    Alarm bells. Mobile number.

But prices are mad. £11.99 for laces that are £6.99 on Amazon

I'm not sure that I share your belief that it is a UK based company.

    Their website Edilyo.com says:
The Service is controlled, operated and administered by EDILYO from our offices within the USA.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, this agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Florida in all disputes...

It is a USA market place.

T&C state you cannot use if under thirteen year but then have 18 in brackets.

Well, it says it's USA based but that could just be what they put on one of their sites for scamming US customers and simply couldn't be bothered to change it when they copied and pasted the text.
