I try really hard to do a couple of sentences, at least 3 or 4 lines. If its a decent track thats OK. Its when its total drivel I struggle, trying to find something positive to say. My son has now signed up and the difference in what he puts is amazing. He studied Music Technology to HND level so uses technical terms about the differen drum machines etc. And he likes hip hop and rap so its easier to comment on what you know about.

I can appreciate that! I got one hip hop song today and I thought with all the willy references that they were on about a donkey. It really sounded like a group of dirty old men getting randy over some cheap mag so I asked what was all this stuff about a donkey and were they obsessed with their you know whats, or what! After posting it I noticed that the track was called "Put the dunk in" (Whatever that means). Laugh? I hope they did?
I expecy I'll get an e-mail from STP now. Lets hope they have a sense of humour - kind of doubt it considering all they ever seem to go on about. After a few Hip hop numbers I have to take a break but theres actually been a few decent ones this am. I just compare it to the stuff thats played on the music channels at the gym and compare it to that - its mostly all african americans on about their lay-deez or whatever. LOL:rotfl:

Wow, this has become less of a thread, and more like a chatroom! It's probably one of the most active threads on here. I've been trying to follow it, but it's hard to keep-up.

I've set myself a mental target, which is higher than I can achieve, but hopefully, by aiming high, even if I fail, I'll be high-ish.

I do find it, like most of you, difficult to vary my reviews. Also the actual physical act of listening to those songs, but I'm doing OK; around 40th position, accuracy over 90% (which will take a battering in this room) and 3 stars - I await that 4th star; lots of reviews to go till 100th.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi.

Accuracy over 90% is great, I'm on about 86, creeping up slowly, too many 0's and 10's early on! I'm usually about 135-145 in the chart but still 3* so obviously its not just about accuracy or league position. This could get competitive, LOL

Jim, hey

The only problem with the accuracy thing is, the more reviews you do, the less quickly your percentage will fluctuate, as any given review has less "weight" overall. Which can be good, too, I guess, if you've got a high rating by the time you've hit, say 1000 reviews.

I'm hovering around the 90% mark now, which means my rating should be around the late 80s to early 90s consistently from now on. Unless, I really screw it up. Which I can. With ease.

Regarding the accuracy mine goes up and down all the time but never by that much currently its 92.45% hmmmm

Your right it is like a chat thread i left quite late yesterday and just had to catch up on two pages, i know it takes a while for newbies or people that havent checked the thread for a while to get through so i apologise

I do think its nice that the thread combines both tips as we do try and answer stp questions though were no experts, as well as having a little chat after all were all here we might as well do it together :j
