  • If you're adding bands to your watchlist as you listen, then you can go to your watchlist and click the Use Tip link next to bands you like. If the bands you tip get through to the showcase and get finance you can buy backstage passes for free copy of album etc.

I'm really enjoying this arena so far, had some great acoustic indie and pop tracks, and some great chilled out stuff, only one swearing rap track, but even that I found ok. I just have to make sure I don't stay up all night now like I did last weekend!

  • well i hit 2 stars on 35 reviews and 3 on 100 reviews, so if you're writing good enough quality reviews to pass the STP staff checks, I guess you'll be on the same kind of path?

    Righty........I dont understand.

What do I need to do to increase my stars? I know I've only done 35 and today is my first day, but I'm a bit lost.

Also, how can I be awarded an accuracy rating if voting and comments are completely objective?

I'm puzzled...and requiring the loo! :rotfl:

  • I wouldn't worry too much, just keep on doing what you're doing! And the accuracy thing is a bit of a misnomer. It's how accurate you are to the reviews that other scouts have given the track, so it's not exactly great for the artist, as common belief is stick to giving tracks rating between four and eight, as that's what everyone else will do. The artists of course thinks that sucks if people aren't giving them incredibly high scores that might be deserved because they want to keep their accuracy up to get stars. So I keep screwing my accuracy right up, because I can't help rewarding tracks with 9s or 10s if I really, really like them, cause that is the spirit of the site at the end of the day isn't it? I couldn't justify trying to follow the heard just to get the money, don't think it's fair on people who have slogged their guts out making top tunes!
