Or how large the caravan was.
Or how many people in the group.
Or how the OP was impacted by the small veranda.0 -

Having answered a question with the detailed answer about the veranda, I'm thinking that full answers to the latest questions and, I assume, the next set of questions after, would enable posters to determine whether they think my complaint is reasonable in their opinion.Could we skip that bit!. Assume that you consider my complaint to be reasonable.Would you have any advice as to how I could progress the matter further given 3 emails to Parkdean have not resulted in a partial refund.... or a future discount... or anything! Many thanks
Given you chose to stay then the assumption is that the impact was limited - particularly in March/April in UK for alfresco dining.
If you're lucky they may give you a voucher towards a future stay but on the information you've given your 'entitlement' is likely to be zero unless you can show that it advertises 'outside seating for 6' but only gave you space/facilities for 22 -
No we can't really skip that bit and it's really important to establish what the promised you.
Was a veranda for 6 included in the description or not? It's a fairly simple question.
It's true you can't rely on illustrations.
It really matter what you actually booked not the picture.
Skipping on (as requested).
Do you have legal cover on your house insurance? Sorry for more questions but it's a free route to legal advice and legal action if you have it.
How did you pay? There is a route via debit or credit cards.
Otherwise you can send a letter before action and go down the court route yourself. We cannot advise if this is worthwhile.
So 3 options for you there.1 -
Many thanks for replies. Much appreciated. All now happily resolved. For anyone who comes across this in the future the answer is persistence. In fairness to the company, I won't be responding to this thread any further. Many thanks again for the replies.0

What about fairness to others visiting Parkdean sites who may find themselves in the same situation? What was the resolution? Partial refund, discount on future stay?? No detail requested, just the tupe of resolution.
