Just in case anyone else is wondering: I phoned ii & after much consultation among themselves they confirmed that it's the date of the trade, which is usually the day after the date of the online order, that counts as the disposal date

Correct, but why is ii so slow? I've never used ii but in my experience with e.g., iWeb, Barclays, HSBC, Fidelity and others is that the date of the order and the date of the trade are the same so long as you meet the day's cut-off time, often 11am*, with the trade executed at midday.bobthebleeper said:Just in case anyone else is wondering: I phoned ii & after much consultation among themselves they confirmed that it's the date of the trade, which is usually the day after the date of the online order, that counts as the disposal date
*but it can be different for some funds/fund providers.1
