AnalystQue

I June last year I saw an advert which appeared to be endorsed by Martin Lewis, Phillip Schofiled and Holly Willoughby for Bitcoin trading promising regular increase in a 250USD down-payment.

Having began trading it all appeared OK. Then when I fell ill later in the year and then returned to work with unsocial hours my contact with "my account manager" dwindled to some extent. I was then told that my Accountmanager (David) had been promoted and I was being passed on to another manager (Tony) who has proved to be difficult to speak to and again I have been working unsocial hours.

I decided to close the account last week and was told that I had a sub account which was worth £18,000 and to close it and get the money I had to pay an inactivity fee of £2100. Tony said I had to set up a Binance wallet so that the money could be transfered to my bank.

I said that what if I kept the account open and continue to trade in small quantities on the Forex market. This was agreed and I was told that the inactivity fees would be reduced to £1000. I was then told that I had to pay that first to carry on trading. I have told Tony that I can't afford it and that I think it is a scam. He was abrupt and rude. I await further comment from him. Does anyone know anything about this so called Company. If I cease communication with them what will happen.

Any help greatfully appreciated.

Martin Lewis does not endorse any investment, certainly not Bitcoin.  So any advert that says or implies otherwise is likely to be a scam at worst or highly lucrative for the salesman and highly risky for the investor at best.

Getting you to pay extra to access your money is likely also to be a scam - if they were able to catch you first time round it's worth their while trying again.

I fear you may have lost all your money.

What was the company? Where did you see the advert?

I saw the advert on Facebook. The company is AnalystQue. I'm not sure if there is an accumulated £18,000 in any event that in itself could be a xcam. Would I be best ceasing contact.

I see no point whatsoever in you contacting the company again.  Look at the reviews in the link I posted.  I am afraid you will have to consider the whole episode an expensive education.  Keep to mainstream regulated investments.

Text book example advance fee fraud.     you can get nice big shiny item but to do so you need to give us a less shiny item.

You will be getting a lot more emails and phone calls from people trying to sell you more scams, including the "we've recovered your money from AnalystQue" scam recovery scam. It would be a very good idea to change your phone number, email address and any other contact details you gave to the scammers.

Be aware for the future that no legitimate investment provider will promise increases. In fact they will warn you that investments can go down as well as up.

  • Indeed. I will never venture into this type of investment again. Thank you.
