I got the free case but I ordered it on the 2nd day of the first offer.0

Tell them that it was advertised as an "included accessory." Ask them again either for the case or a partial refund (I got £5).

Yes, just called Boots. They have told me the same story, but i asked to honour the customer and the lady on other end promised 600 advantage points to my account.
Hope this helpsp3gg wrote:Have just phoned Boots, having received my Dimage Z10 on Saturday morning minus the promised free case. "All offers and free gifts are subject to availability", they say, "and the only reason it wouldn't have been in the box is that we must have run out of cases." Humph.
My argument is that since the free case is referred to on the dispatch note, it should definitely have been in the box.
Not sure where to go next with this. Anybody in the same boat?0 -
Having used this camera I think there is something more important than the case and would like to know if anyone knows of a neat solution. When putting the Z10 back in it's case the lens cap flipped off - which fortunately I noticed and managed to find in the long grass. Prior to that happening I was thinking that I should try and find something that could be stuck onto the lens cap so that it could be tied to the camera. I guess something like the security cords that camera shops use to attach their cameras to the counter would be good. Has anyone seen any products that would be a solution to this?0

Managed to pick up a Z10 from a store the other day as a gift. Planning on getting a 512Mb SD memory card, and a case but if anyone knows of any other 'interesting' or 'useful' accessories I would love to know. It is going to be a gift, and 'cos of the discount I now have some spare cash to spend on other things.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Spotted the high speed card at ebuyer the other day and chances are I'll buy that one (unless something better turns up on the meantime of course)Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

A mini tripod would be a good idea as otherwise at full zoom you will need a pretty steady hand. They are useful anyway for setting up the camera to take timed photos. Plenty on ebay and not too expensive in local camera shops.0 -
Thanks for the idea. I'll have to investigate this one a bit further. They have got a tripod for their digital camcorder. Would they need another one for the digi camera, or would their existing one work?Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
