Martins Travel Money Maximiser.
Usually Travelex online reserve - pickup at airport is cheapest for cash.
If you have a Nationwide Flexaccount you can get cash out fees free at the Visa exchange rate (usually best you can get) or if you have a Nationwide CC or Post Office CC you can use these in shops fees free and again get the Visa rate.
The places in Italy i would guess would be more expensive than travelex.
If you use them, don't forget to get the cash in UK£ out of a cashpoint to pay them with it physically. If you hand them your debit card they will add cash handling fees writing off the benefit.
