No One to Witness My Will – Please Help
Comments
-
My solicitor drew up our wills recently. Pretty simple estate and I thought I had everything covered, but solicitor still suggested a few adjustments. The gals from his office were the witnesses.
I'd highly recommend paying for a proper will, knowing that something has been done properly gives great peace of mind.Shout out to people who don't know what the opposite of in is.1 -
Is the wording of the Will such that should your property be sold, perhaps for care home fees, tit will not have any affect on your proposed distribution of the estate.AeroJ said:My estate is fairly simple but I do own a property.
As an example, if you leave your property to A, B and C and the remainder of your estate to X, Y and Z, if the property is sold prior then A, B and C would end up with nothing.2 -
Paying a solicitor to draw up a Will seems be a good investment which will also solve my witnesses issue so that’s what I’ve decided to do.
A big thank you to everyone for all your replies, advice and help.
