returns- new card

If you are returning individual small purchases, e.g. <£60 then just explain to the Customer Service Advisor that you have had it cancelled and they may or may not authorise the refund, however if you want to return a lot of items, or expensive items, if you can get some proof that your card has been cancelled (sometimes card providers will do this if you ask them) then the Customer Service Advisor again may authorise the refund (but not definately). If you don't agree with the CSA, ask to see the duty manager (politely) and see if you can convince them to refund it to your card, but any decisions made by the duty manager override any of those of the CSA.[DISCLAIMER: Any posts made by myself are my opinions and do not represent my employer]
