Replacement registration not showing

Took off my private reg last night (Sunday) and it did it all online, said to put the replacement reg on the vehicle. I put the old plates on etc. but it still isnt showing on the DVLA website or anywhere? It still shows under the private reg but ive had confirmation it has been removed. Any suggestions? Cant get through to dvla on phone or webchat either

I recall when putting my plate on my car, it took a couple of days for the DVLA 'public' systems to update (things like MOT checker and tax checker). If you've had the confirmation that it's been removed and to put on the old plates, I'd not worry too much. (I'm guessing you're selling the car?)

It was my brothers and he took the reg off as i've bought it off him

DVLA is not an instant system., especially on a Sunday.

 It will update in due course
