Hi, I am currently claiming PIP and UC as I'm recovering from Cancer, in September I am planning to become a full time university student, from what I've read my student maintainence loan will impact the UC but not the PIP, I'd be on the lowest rate loan does anyone know *how* that impacts the UC the Gov website seems to give a convoluted response and I can't make sense of it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

UC will assess you as having taken the maximum loan available whether you take it or not. PIP is unaffected.
