This year marks the 300th anniversary of the fabulous Peat Spade Inn, one of Upham Inn's most historic Hampshire pubs. Taking its name from the peat dug-up near the river by labourers working for the Lord of the Manor, the Peat Spade Inn and a large, water-filled hole, are the only remaining tributes to this tradition.

In celebration of this monumental milestone, we are giving one lucky winner the chance to enjoy a one-night stay for two at the Peat Spade Inn (or any Hampshire-based Upham Inn) plus a delicious cooked breakfast.

• Closing date Monday 31st July 2023. The winner will be notified on Tuesday 1st August 2023 using the contact details provided. The winner will have 48 hours to respond, if they do not respond within this time Hampshire Fare reserves the right to redraw a new winner.
