Business Utility Renewals and Pozitive Energy

I run a charity in an old building and needed to renew the gas contract. I was expecting a large hike in costs. I used Business Utility Renewals as an intermediary and bought into a contract with Pozitive Energy for three years. I asked the rep if there were any terms in the contract I would not like. He said no. I asked for the contract to read. He said it could not be supplied before the contract was taken up but there was nothing unusual in it.  I took it up.
I now find after another intermediary has contaced me that cheaper is available.
On asking to cancel the Pozitive contract , before it started, I was told that Imwould have to pay 60% of the total contract price if I did. Clearly I could not.
Beware Business Utility Renewals (sharp practice) and Pozitive Energy (fierce contracts).
