Spotted by me in London. Someone at the garage outside which it was parked said 'one of the Scandinavian countries' but according to google - no.
Any ideas where this is from?

Isn't that a normal Northern Ireland number?0

All - thanks for quick responses. By way of clarification, Northern Ireland I did wonder about - Vehicle registration plates of Northern Ireland - Wikipedia - but format/colour not the same, plus the vehicle is LHD, and I looked at the windscreen to see if any tell-tale tax discs / dealer stickers etc but none.
Can also confirm that the plate at the back was identical - I walked round the back of the vehicle wondering if there WOULD be any country code or dealer sticker etc but again none.

the fact that the van is left hand drive could be a red herring as you see lots of LHD cars with UK plates after the car has been imported
to me that looks very much like an illegally spaced northern Ireland plate from county Armagh0 -
It looks Swedish to me, except the format isn't normal - could be a personalised number?
The typeface looks wrong for a UK plate.0 -
Isle of Mann? Otherwise the font looks like the Dutch one to me and my memory (uh-oh), but their plates on the front are (were?) yellow.0

ZD6918 is in a series issued in Dublin City between 1940 and 1947.
Possibly still legal as a 'personal' plate in the Irish Republic?
No need for an 'IRL' sticker in UK (and vice-versa).0 -
The format or three letters followed by four numbers is fine for Sweden or Poland - but it's very unusual for either of them to not have the blue EU sticker on the left.
Defo not NI as their plates can be checked on the usual UK MOT and Tax database0 -
It could be Greek, not sure if the region code comes to something. It would have to have been re-made though.

It could also be from Transnistria as that typeface looks somewhat familiar and if it's not that I couldn't place it. I can't remember the layout of these. These would normally have a sticker somewhere on it though.
It could be a new issue Kazkah plate (again re-made).
The typeface looks to be somewhat Dutch, but the plates would be the wrong colour.💙💛 💔0
