Does anyone know how you find out the date that is being used on your bill to calculate your "end of plan balance".

This is British Gas in this case so I'm not sure if other energy companies do the same, but they quote on their website that "Your end of plan balance is predicted to be £x in debit" (or credit or whatever).

Hoewver I cannot find anywhere on the website or the bill what they mean by "end of plan balance" - they only seem to bill me twice a year so is it the end of winter bill (usually in March) or the end of Summer Bill (usually in September)?

From a BG business point of view, obviously they will want it to be March so that they can have a load of my money all through the summer, but I cannot actually find anything that confirms or denies this.
