Worth fighting a NAD dispute?

Sold an item on ebay,
I sell this item in 10cm lengths and this is clearly stated in the listing.
Sold plenty with no problems.
I now have a buyer that's opened a return request as NAD.
The reason given is
"Other sellers often sell this same item in 30cm lengths and this is only 10cm so no use to me"
Obviously didn't read the listing or notice mine was 1/3 the price of the 30cm listings!
I've messaged back giving them my return address.
If they cover the return postage I don't mind taking the hit so much but if they proceed with the case (ie want a free returns lable) is it worth declining the return in the hope that ebay agree with me?
And hoping ebay will remove any poor feedback I get for this?

yes worth declining. What other sellers sell is nothing to do with what you are selling. NAD is based on YOUR listing if its clear you were selling 10cm then thats all you need.

Yes, I would absolutely fight this. It's true that eBay generally sides with buyers, but I have won similar cases where it was easily provable that the clueless buyer simply hadn't bothered to read the listing.

If so and you are Top Rated (edit to add it seems to apply to Above Standard business sellers as well) you can report the buyer and eBay should refund the cost of the label to your account.
